Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
The above hours are when the library is usually open, but due to staffing, hours are subject to change.
*If you are an evening or weekend student and need to schedule a consultation or book pick-up outside of regular hours, please email library@mercycollege.edu.
Where is the library?
The library is located on the first floor, just inside the Madison Avenue entrance to the College. A computer lab, quiet corners, tables, large cozy chairs, and study rooms are available for individual and group study.
Collection
Our collection includes books, journals, and audiovisuals. Current materials are kept in the library, with older materials in storage, available to patrons upon request. Library materials are intended to supplement texts and other materials used in the classroom.
How do I get an account number?
An account number is needed in order to access online services and resources. If you do not have a number, contact the library and we will assist you.
Photocopying
The library has a black and white printer and a color printer and materials to help with classroom presentations. Copying is free.
Research Assistance
The Mercy College librarians can help you search the databases and find articles online. Instruction is available in person or by telephone.
Copyright Compliance
It is each person’s responsibility to abide by the copyright laws. The librarians can answer questions you may have about copyright.
