MEDLINE/PubMed

  • MEDLINE is the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM)  database of more than 28 million references to journal articles in life sciences and biomedicine. 
  • It includes literature published from 1966 to the present, covering more than 5,200 worldwide journals in 40 languages.
  • MEDLINE is the primary component of PubMed, a literature database developed and maintained by the NLM National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
