Interlibrary Loans

Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a free service for students, faculty and staff looking for articles that are not available in the Mercy College Library’s collection or OhioLINK

Interlibrary Loan questions and inquiries can be directed to Becca GorskiPlease use your Mercy College e-mail address.

You can e-mail the library with the citation of the article or book:

  1. After you submit an interlibrary loan request form with your first and last name and your Mercy College email, a staff member sends the request to a lending library. While some article requests have same-day fulfillment, it often takes 1-3 business days for requests to be filled.
  2. When we receive your article a PDF will be emailed to the student/faculty/staff who requested it.
  3. The library staff will contact you if an article request cannot be acquired or there are copyright concerns.

In some instances, you can request an interlibrary loan while searching in a database. See below:

Select Request an article from the library

Students

For this to remain a free service for students, faculty and staff, please be considerate and limit the number of articles you request at one time to 3 (exceptions may be made if necessary).

Faculty

If you are a faculty or staff member working on a project, presentation or publication please contact the library and we can assist you with acquiring any articles you need.
